OK.  I’ll be honest.  I love to shop when I am kid-free and have time with a reasonable budget.  I do not like window-shopping and I do not typically like to shop last minute.  With that being said, every time there is a wedding, upscale event, the holidays, etc. I, like basically every other woman, don’t have anything to wear!  Haha!  And then we tell our spouse and they reply, “What are you talking about, look at all that clothes in your closet!”  To all women reading this, THEY JUST DON’T GET IT and probably never will.  LOL  This is why it’s so important for us to have a go-to department store that never fails to disappoint, especially for last-minute shopping needs: lo and behold Macy’s.

Macy’s has been my all-time favorite department store since as far back as I can remember.

Frankly, I remember shopping in the kids section of Macy’s, that’s how far back we go!  Now that I am a 30-something year old and currently in my 3rd pregnancy, Macy’s continues to always be there for me in my time of need – from the variety of style to the jaw-dropping sales!  My local Macy’s is located in Pembroke Lakes Mall in Pembroke Pines, FL.  Just when I thought they couldn’t get any better, I recently discovered that they offer a FREE personal shopping experience called “My Stylist”.  MIND BLOWN!

I briefly chatted online with the My Stylist Director, Apryl Errico, and she kindly asked for my styling preference, color choices, size, etc. and when we met in person, she had a variety of clothes options.  She was extremely helpful and really captured my style.  She introduced me to the most comfortable pregnancy jeans by Jessica Simpson which I cannot believe that after being pregnant 3 times, I finally found the best maternity jeans making me wish I could be pregnant again a couple more times just so that I can wear them.

Apparently, several selected Macy’s offer this gratuitous service in different cities.  Here’s how it works:

1. Find out if they offer this service at your local Macy’s HERE.
2. Make an appointment with the Stylist and take a quiz to let them know your occasion, size, and style.
3. Meet your Stylist.  Arrive the day of and try on all the great selections.  Want more variety?  The stylist will work with you and dedicate their time making you feel special.
4. Find the perfect outfit(s).  All done!  Come again.

Just think about the amount of time you will be saving especially in last minute occasions.  You can go shopping alone and meet with the stylist – it’s like have a best friend shop alongside but even better because they understand your style and will take their time to help you find the right outfit.  All the other reasons to shop at Macy’s are their brand selection and amazing sales.
